World Zones Redridge Mountains Theocritus' Retrieval Quest objectives Bring the Faded Shadowhide Pendant to Theocritus the Mage.
Description <You hear a disembodied voice...>
Do not be alarmed. I am Theocritus, High Mage of Tower Azora in Elwynn Forest. The pendant you are holding is a method of communication between the Shadowhide Gnolls and their master, Morganth.
Through months of research, I believe I too can communicate through these pendants. If you can hear this message, then my spell was a success.
Bring me this pendant and I will reward you for the service.
Provided items Rewards Also listed in the Classic record:
These are Classic item reward relations. Current item pages show their own client stats; the relation is not a verified Forever reward.
Sources & reference status Classic reference Historical names, quests, requirements, rewards, services and NPC locations come from CMaNGOS classic-db contributors , pinned Classic 1.12 milestone. They need confirmation in Forever. Quest identities are limited to IDs present in the Forever 70532 QuestV2 table. An ID does not confirm the Classic text, reward, level or location.
Maps: Blizzard Entertainment, extracted client build 1.60.1.70374. Coordinates use the same revealed maps and world-coordinate projection as the Hunter atlas. A source spawn is a place to check; no current sighting, path or respawn time is inferred.
Pet records, where shown, are separately attributed to TrueshotLodge by chazlander (MIT). A dated tame report confirms a reported tame, not every coordinate. .
