TAVERN · CASUAL PLAYERS
WoW Forever casual tier list
A main for the evenings you actually have. Our take on forgiving solo progress, preparation and fitting a class around limited playtime.
A level 60 launch forecast, not a DPS ranking
These are starting points for a busy player, not a verdict on your favourite class. A regular group, a playstyle you love or a different tolerance for upkeep can move any class higher on your own list.

The Tavern shortlist
S
PaladinOur pick for forgiving short sessions when you value safety over fast kills. Its steady pace and support options suit players who want room to recover from a mistake.Class guide →
DruidOur safest shortlist for players who are still exploring which role they enjoy. Learning its forms takes attention up front, but the flexibility can keep one main interesting for longer.Class guide →
WarlockA strong fit for steady solo progress if you enjoy preparing shards and stones before a session. We rate that routine kindly when it buys a smoother evening between pulls.Class guide →
HunterOur recommendation for relaxed solo evenings with a companion and a long-term hunting goal. Pet care and ammunition are part of the bargain; the steady routine will suit some players more than others.Class guide →A
ShamanClose to S in our view if you enjoy an active toolkit and changing playstyles on one character. We place it in A because managing that toolkit can feel tiring after a long day.Class guide →
PriestA good fit when helping a friend is what makes a session worthwhile. We put it below the most independent solo picks because quiet solo progress and group healing ask for different compromises.Class guide →
MageA when you enjoy controlling fights and value the convenience you bring to a group night. Mana management and active kiting make it a more demanding choice for evenings when you want to switch off.Class guide →B
RogueA close call with A for players who like choosing their own fights. We keep it in B because mistakes, weapon upgrades and consumable upkeep can make short sessions less forgiving.Class guide →
WarriorB for busy weeks dominated by short solo sessions. Move it higher on your personal shortlist when you have a regular dungeon group and enjoy setting the pace.Class guide →THE FULL REASONING
