World Zones Badlands The Black Box Quest objectives Take the Corroded Black Box to the Hall of Arms in Ironforge.
Description The surface of this metallic black box is heavily pitted, as if it had been immersed in acid - it must have been sitting in the giant condor's stomach for a long time.
Turning the box over, a symbol is found stamped on its bottom. Below the symbol are the words:
"Engine #19 - Ironforge Siege Brigade"
Provided items Rewards No item rewards listed. Current Forever XP and money rewards are unknown.
Sources & reference status Classic reference Historical names, quests, requirements, rewards, services and NPC locations come from CMaNGOS classic-db contributors , pinned Classic 1.12 milestone. They need confirmation in Forever. Quest identities are limited to IDs present in the Forever 70532 QuestV2 table. An ID does not confirm the Classic text, reward, level or location.
Maps: Blizzard Entertainment, extracted client build 1.60.1.70374. Coordinates use the same revealed maps and world-coordinate projection as the Hunter atlas. A source spawn is a place to check; no current sighting, path or respawn time is inferred.
Pet records, where shown, are separately attributed to TrueshotLodge by chazlander (MIT). A dated tame report confirms a reported tame, not every coordinate. .
