World Zones Duskwood Wolves at Our Heels Quest objectives Kill 12 Starving Dire Wolves and 8 Rabid Dire Wolves, then return to Lars at Sven's Camp on the western border of Duskwood.
Description Sven and I have dangerous days ahead of us, what with the Necromancer to the east and all. And out here alone as we are, we have to hunt for our own food. It seems every time I'm heading back to camp with some meat on me, starving or rabid dire wolves come out of the forest wanting a bite. It goes without saying, living out here is dangerous work!
But if you can rid us of some of those wolves, we'd have an easier time of it. They mostly prowl north and east of here, near the river.

Sources & reference status Classic reference Historical names, quests, requirements, rewards, services and NPC locations come from CMaNGOS classic-db contributors , pinned Classic 1.12 milestone. They need confirmation in Forever. Quest identities are limited to IDs present in the Forever 70532 QuestV2 table. An ID does not confirm the Classic text, reward, level or location.
Maps: Blizzard Entertainment, extracted client build 1.60.1.70374. Coordinates use the same revealed maps and world-coordinate projection as the Hunter atlas. A source spawn is a place to check; no current sighting, path or respawn time is inferred.
Pet records, where shown, are separately attributed to TrueshotLodge by chazlander (MIT). A dated tame report confirms a reported tame, not every coordinate. .
