WoW Forever FAQ

The announced worldwide launch is 4 November 2026 at 23:00 UTC: 3:00 p.m. PST, or 5 November at 00:00 CET. It is one global start, so the local calendar date can differ.

The announced launch level cap is 60. Blizzard also describes the first raids as level 60 content.

The announced lineup is Normal, PvP, Roleplaying and Roleplay-PvP. Hardcore follows after launch; a release date for it is not confirmed by these sources.

The announced window is 27 October–3 November for eligible Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack or Warcraft Forever Collection accounts, with up to three characters total across all rulesets. Names are first come, first served; opening times vary by region.

Blizzard announced a 9 December 2026 opening for The Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia’s Lair. They require groups of 10, 20 and 40 players respectively and are level 60 raids.

Blizzard developer QuestTheLine said the Legacy points available in testing would be reset to zero for launch. This is a reset of the beta point pool, not an announcement that the Legacy system is being removed.

Normal access to Forever is included with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time; upgrade packs are optional. Eligible Invite-A-Friend launch codes are a stated exception, granting access during 4–11 November without a subscription or Game Time.

Blizzard lists the Skyborne race and Zephras Isle starting experience as benefits of the Skyborne Heroic Pack or a higher edition. A subscription alone is not listed as unlocking that race.
